Welcome to Corvette Power .COM this is my first attempt at providing a means for me to share information about things I am interested in. It is also a way for me to store some information at the time I am researching something and then later pull the information up.
You may remember my old static site, with links to pictures and other things. That site still exists, but the content is being phased out for this new 'story' format site. If you have old items bookmarked you will still be able to use them. But if you dont, you will need to follow the links on the new site. More stuff is available to family and friends just request a password. Submitted by tfiske on Tue, 07/29/2008 - 21:46.
Well I have had my iPod for just only 2 weeks, and have been plagued with hangs while installing applications, only to have to reset the device (holding Power/Home for 5 seconds) several times a day. To the point, it just no longer would boot up, and sat just at the Apple Logo. So digging around I found out how to restore your iPod Touch to the factory default... and for me, it restored to my already purchased 2.0 version of the iPod. You could always try restoring your iPod to factory settings: Submitted by tfiske on Fri, 05/30/2008 - 21:30.

I found an interesting article about turning your GMail into a nerve center, and it seems to have some relevance to my work email as well. I've long been a fan of www.rssfwd.com as a way to have blogs and sites I don't visit often, show up in my inbox. But it also looks like Yahoo!

I've installed the Notify module to see if its a good module to allow users to be notified of new content. There doesn't seem to be a 'default' setting that will apply to new user accounts. ;( Submitted by tfiske on Mon, 07/16/2007 - 16:57.
Just a quick update, as I said before last week they have sold out of
all 4 day passes for the Comic-Con. That means you will have to stand in line every day that you want to go. They are also now making noise that the Saturday only tickets are probably going to sell out in advance, so if you want to attend the Comic-Con on Saturday check out: http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_reg.shtml Submitted by tfiske on Tue, 07/03/2007 - 00:15.
OK I have to jump in and say that I got to spend 5 minutes with one over the weekend at a party. I have to say I’m very impressed. As with any ad you see, you know that the situation is very controlled, and things are loaded up to make the product work as they want it to appear. So my friend hadn’t had much time to fill the device up before meeting up with us, but he had music, video, family photos, YouTube, contacts and the calendar all populated. Here are my bullet points.
