SSL Certificates for Personal use
I have been looking to get SSL to use on my mail web site so I can securely read my email from remote locations. So far I have had a couple recommendations. One is to just create my own cert, since its personal use, I can accept the pop-up stating its not signed. The other solution is to goto InstantSSL and pay $49.00 a year for a basic certificate. Still looking for other cheap SSL locations.
Update: I found there is a free tool in the IIS resource kit called SelfSSL, also if you have installed a Certificate Server, you can utilize it. See more recent articles
