Web sites should disclose if their server is infecting others?

I have to agree with this commentary about the recent outbreak of hacked IIS servers, where the machines were setup to infect unsuspecting web users. They haven't listed name, but picture if you will, that this web server had been infected or hacked, and an attack was installed on it that could infect YOUR computer with out you having to do anything but visit this site. Would you be upset, if I found out about the problem, should I tell you... am I obligated to tell you? I know what I would do, and its not what all these commercial sites did... and say NOTHING.
